AMERICAN Junior Golf AssociaTion
COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
During the summer of 2021 I had the opportunity to work for the American Junior Golf Association. The AJGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. As a traveling communications intern I was able to write and produce multiple social media content. What made the experience so gratifying was being able to work for a great company. What differentiates a company from good to great are the people and the culture. I had the opportunity to work with many AJGA employees who most of all are great human beings. I invite everyone to check out some of my produced content!

Penn State Harrisburg Sports Information
My Senior year I had the opportunity to complete an internship with the Sports Informations Office at Penn State Harrisburg. I was assigned different tasks depending on the season. During Fall season I was head social media intern for the Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Soccer Team. My task was to run the teams social media, which focused on Instagram and Twitter. The requirements were to post engaging content that promoted the teams values and their personality. For Spring season I focused on the Penn State Harrisburg Basketball Team. I supported the media staff during game day such as live stream via Wirecast software, StretchInternet, action photography and action videography. Throughout the internship I was able to experience two historic seasons. For the very first time in the programs history, the Men’s Soccer and Men’s Basketball had won their conference and qualified to the NCAA Tournament. Covering these two teams challenged me to create professional content via Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and much more. As an intern I took the position with pride and improve as a sports informations professional.
